Brent Kicks Off the Week at $80 per Barrel

The Brent crude oil barrel, which is a reference for Angolan exports, starts the week with a price of 80.88 dollars, the same value at which it closed in the previous trading sessions.

Experiencing an increase of 1.25 dollars (1.57 percent) compared to the previous closing price, the Brent crude oil, during the period from June 23rd to July 21st, recorded an average price of 77.28 dollars. The highest price reached was 81.75 dollars, while the lowest was 71.57 dollars, resulting in a difference of 10.18 dollars.

So far, the orders for September have seen eight sessions with downward variations and thirteen with upward variations (positive).

During this year, the prices of Brent on January 24th were 86.13 dollars, February had 82.82 dollars, March had 74.99 dollars, April had 82.73 dollars, May had 78.36 dollars, and on June 23rd, the price was 73.85 dollars in the trading sessions.

The OGE/2023 has set a reference price of 75 dollars for the Brent barrel.
