Petrofac Secures Multimillion Integrated Services Contract in Africa

Petrofac, a leading global oilfield services provider, has recently been awarded a significant facilities management contract by CNR International (CNRI) for offshore operations in the Ivory Coast, West Africa. This multimillion-dollar contract spans an initial three-year period and entails Petrofac’s Asset Solutions business delivering integrated services for the Espoir Ivoirien Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel.

Under this agreement, approximately 110 personnel currently supporting the FPSO, both onshore and on the vessel, will transition to Petrofac from BW Offshore. This transfer follows the recent sale of the vessel to CNRI. The entire transition, including the transfer of personnel and operatorship, is expected to be completed by the end of July.

This contract marks a further expansion of Petrofac’s longstanding partnership with CNRI, particularly in the United Kingdom Continental Shelf (UKCS). The collaboration has primarily focused on providing operations and maintenance services. Leveraging decades of experience in the mature and highly regulated UKCS market, Petrofac will manage the contract from its technical hub in Aberdeen.

Petrofac’s successful bid for this integrated services contract in West Africa underscores the company’s expertise and commitment to delivering comprehensive solutions for offshore oil and gas operations.
