Angola produced 31,863,172 barrels of crude oil in December 2025, equivalent to an average daily output of 1,027,844 barrels, according to the monthly production summary released by the National Agency of Petroleum, Gas and Biofuels (ANPG).
The agency noted that average daily crude production fell short of the monthly target of 1,080,238 barrels per day.
Total production of crude oil and associated liquids reached 32,660,115 barrels of oil equivalent during the month, corresponding to an average of 1,053,552 barrels of oil equivalent per day.
Associated gas production during December amounted to 85,425 million cubic feet, with a daily average of 2,756 million cubic feet.
Of this volume, approximately 1,210 million cubic feet per day were reinjected into reservoirs, 856 million cubic feet were supplied to the Angola LNG plant, and 318 million cubic feet were used for power generation at oil production facilities, according to ANPG.
Oil exports for the month totaled 35,258,138 barrels, representing an average of 1,137,359 barrels per day. This figure exceeded the monthly export forecast of 1,108,226 barrels per day.
Compared with November 2025, when average daily production stood at 1,060,660 barrels, December recorded a month-on-month decline in crude output.
However, production remained above the one-million-barrel-per-day threshold.
On a year-on-year basis, December 2025 output was slightly higher than in December 2024, when Angola produced 31,763,054 barrels of crude oil, with an average daily production of 1,024,615 barrels, based on ANPG historical data.
