In November, Angola produced over 33.8 million barrels of oil, averaging approximately 1.1 million barrels per day, according to the National Agency for Oil, Gas, and Biofuels (ANPG).
The official monthly report on oil production, accessed by VerAngola, revealed that the country achieved a total of 33,841,872 barrels during the month.
“Angola’s oil production for November was 33,841,872 barrels, which corresponds to a daily average of 1,128,062 barrels per day (BOPD), surpassing the projected 1,073,910 BOPD,” the report states.
Regarding associated gas, Angola produced over 79 million cubic feet in November. “The associated gas production for the month was 79,847 million cubic feet, averaging 2,662 million cubic feet per day (MMSCFD).
Of this, 1,067 MMSCFD was reinjected to maintain reservoir pressure, 704 MMSCFD was supplied to the Angola LNG (ALNG) plant, and 315 MMSCFD was used for energy generation in oil installations,” noted ANPG.
In the Cabinda Association, LPG production reached 323,602 barrels, with a daily average of 10,787 barrels. This was broken down into 6,221 barrels of propane, 4,186 barrels of butane, and 380 barrels of onshore LPG.
Oil and LPG production combined amounted to over 34.6 million barrels of oil equivalent (BOE), averaging 1,156,126 barrels of oil equivalent per day.
The highest-producing blocks in November included Block 17 (356,517 barrels/day), Block 15 (213,951 barrels/day), Block 32 (135,246 barrels/day), and Block 0 (121,010 barrels/day), among others.
