Angola Oil & Gas 2026 Brings Together 3,000+ Delegates from 40+ Countries to Discuss Energy and Investment
Angola Oil & Gas (AOG) 2026 is set to bring together thousands of energy professionals, investors and industry leaders in Luanda as Angola positions its oil and gas sector for further investment, growth and diversification.
The seventh edition of the conference and exhibition is expected to attract more than 3,000 delegates from over 40 countries, representing more than 450 organisations, with discussions covering investment, exploration and production, gas development, technology, local content and the energy transition.
The main event will take place in Luanda from 9–10 September 2026, preceded by a technical and regulatory pre-conference on 8 September.
Investment and Energy Transition in Focus
AOG 2026 will provide a platform for government officials, international oil companies, independent producers, service companies, financiers and technology providers to discuss opportunities across Angola’s energy value chain.
Key discussions will focus on increasing oil and gas investment, developing new projects, improving operational efficiency and supporting Angola’s ambitions to expand its role as a regional energy hub.
Energy transition will also feature prominently, with stakeholders expected to examine how Angola can balance continued hydrocarbon development with the adoption of cleaner technologies and lower-carbon energy solutions.
Stronger Focus on Local Content
Local content will be another major theme, reflecting Angola’s efforts to increase the participation of domestic companies and professionals in the oil and gas industry.
Discussions will examine opportunities for Angolan businesses to provide goods and services to major operators, while addressing skills development, financing, technology transfer and partnerships needed to strengthen local capacity.
The event is also expected to create opportunities for companies across engineering, logistics, procurement, construction, technology, maintenance and other oilfield services to connect with potential clients and partners.
Platform for Deals and Partnerships
AOG has increasingly become an important platform for investment announcements, commercial agreements and strategic partnerships in Angola’s energy sector.
With more than 40 countries represented, the 2026 edition is expected to provide international investors and energy companies with greater visibility into Angola’s upstream, midstream and downstream opportunities.
The event comes as Angola continues efforts to sustain oil production, develop its natural gas resources, expand refining capacity and attract investment across the broader energy value chain.
For Angola, AOG 2026 provides an opportunity to showcase its investment potential while bringing government, industry and investors together around the future development of the country’s energy sector.
