Mauritius CEB Launches International Tender for 2 MWp Hybrid Rooftop Solar Project

Mauritius Opens International Tender for 2 MWp Grid-Tied Hybrid Rooftop Solar Systems

The Central Electricity Board (CEB) of Mauritius has launched an international tender for the supply of grid-tied, roof-mounted hybrid solar photovoltaic (PV) systems with a combined capacity of 2 megawatt-peak (MWp).

Issued under Section 16 of the Public Procurement Act 2006, as amended, the tender invites eligible and qualified bidders to participate through the Government of Mauritius’ electronic procurement platform.

The procurement, referenced as OAB-CPR-2025-9778 (IFB 10478), covers the supply of equipment required for the development of renewable energy infrastructure under the project.

Interested bidders may obtain the bidding documents via the Mauritius e-Procurement System using reference number CEB/IFB/2025/10478. All bids must be submitted electronically no later than 1:30 p.m. Mauritian time on Monday, 2 February 2026.

A compulsory site visit has been scheduled for Wednesday, 14 January 2026, at 10:00 a.m., to be held at the CEB office in Port Mathurin, Rodrigues.

The visit is intended to allow prospective bidders to familiarize themselves with the project sites and technical requirements.

The Central Electricity Board reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, or to cancel the tender process at any stage prior to contract award, without incurring any liability to participating bidders.
