Jillian Wolk Appointed CEO of De Beers’ Diamond Traceability Platform Tracr

De Beers Names Jillian Wolk as CEO of Tracr to Lead Next Phase of Diamond Traceability and Transparency

Jillian Wolk has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Tracr, the diamond traceability subsidiary of De Beers Group, effective May 1.

She succeeds Wesley Tucker, who stepped down at the end of February after leading the business through its formative and scaling stages.

Wolk brings extensive leadership experience across the jewellery, luxury and technology sectors.

Most recently, she served as Vice President for Growth and Strategic Initiatives at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), where she led the development of new services, diversified revenue streams, strengthened commercial strategy and supported major industry-wide grading initiatives.

Her prior collaboration with the Tracr team during her tenure at GIA has given her a strong understanding of the platform’s operations and strategic mission.

Before joining GIA, Wolk held senior executive roles across the jewellery and technology industries, including Vice President of Business Operations at Swarovski in the United States, where she oversaw multiple business lines and led significant operational and brand initiatives across the Americas.

Her professional background spans commercial leadership, legal and governance expertise, and technology-driven innovation capabilities considered critical as Tracr continues to expand trusted, scalable traceability solutions for the global diamond industry.

Commenting on the appointment, Paul Rowley said Wolk brings a strong blend of industry expertise, commercial leadership and strategic insight.

“Jillian’s experience across jewellery, technology and governance, together with her prior work with Tracr, provides her with valuable perspective to lead the business into its next phase of growth,” he said.

Wolk said she is honoured to join Tracr at a time when transparency and traceability are becoming increasingly important to the diamond sector.

“Tracr has a vital role to play in strengthening trust and confidence across the diamond industry. I look forward to working with the team and industry partners as the platform continues to evolve and scale,” she said.

Wolk will be based in New York and will work closely with Tracr’s global team and stakeholder network as the platform expands its role in supporting responsible sourcing and supply chain transparency across the diamond value chain.
