- Aramco awards EPC contract for world’s largest offshore field
Aramco has awarded a $1 billion engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) contract for its Safaniya offshore increment project to China Offshore Oil Engineering Co (COOEC), as reported by DMS Projects.
The project includes the construction of 13 offshore jackets in Qingdao city, Shangdong province. COOEC expects to deliver the project by July 2024.
- Italian company wins $439 million contracts for Aramco’s Zuluf development
Italian company Fisia Italimpianti has secured two contracts worth $439 million for the construction and management of a water treatment plant as part of Aramco’s Zuluf development program. The first contract, valued at $327 million, involves the construction of a plant for the Zuluf Central Processing Facilities. The second contract, worth $112 million, entails the operation and maintenance of the completed plant for 25 years.
- Saipem secures FEED and EPCI contract from Turkish Petroleum
Italian company Saipem has been awarded a contract by Turkish Petroleum for the second phase of the Sakarya FEED and EPCI Project.
The project includes the construction and installation of a 175 km long, 16″ pipeline in the Turkish Black Sea waters, at a water depth of 2,200 meters. Saipem’s flagship vessel Castorone will carry out the offshore operations, which are scheduled to commence in summer 2024.
- ADNOC Offshore awards major contract for asset repair
ADNOC Offshore has awarded a significant contract to UK-based ICR Integrity for a 5-year composite repair project covering all ADNOC Offshore assets.
The contract, valued in the seven figures, will be executed in collaboration with ICR’s UAE partner, Advanced Petro Services (APS). The project will support ADNOC Offshore across its 14 fields, including four artificial islands.
- Shell awards contract to Worley for major global projects
Worley has been granted an enterprise framework agreement (EFA) by Shell to provide support for the company’s projects worldwide.
The EFA will be effective for three years, with options for two additional one-year extensions. Worley will offer a wide range of services, including engineering, procurement, and integrated project management, across all of Shell’s businesses. The focus will be on digitalization and replication as Worley delivers its services.
