According to a statement from TAAG, this route will have two weekly flights with departures on Mondays and Fridays, operated by the DASH 8 aircraft with capacity for 74 passengers, 64 in economy class and 10 in business class.

TAAG also adds that with the connection to Ponta Negra, it will add eight destinations in Africa, thus reinforcing its role as a reference operator in the region, guaranteeing connection to a variety of Portuguese, French and English speaking countries. For the national flag carrier, Ponta Negra is an attractive destination for the oil industry segment and the corporate market, its tourist and leisure potential being another calling card of this new connection made available by TAAG.
