Renaissance Energy Meets NLNG Gas Supply Commitment After Five Years

Renaissance Energy Achieves First Gas Supply to NLNG in Five Years with 40% Crude Production Increase

Renaissance Energy has fulfilled its contractual gas supply obligations to Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) Limited for the first time in five years, marking a significant step toward stabilizing operations and expanding production capacity across its onshore assets.

The company announced this milestone during the 2025 Nigeria Annual International Conference and Exhibition (NAICE) organized by the Society of Petroleum Engineers in Lagos.

Renaissance credited a 40% increase in crude oil production over the past four months as the key factor enabling the renewed gas supply to NLNG.

Renaissance Africa Energy Company Limited emphasized that stronger collaboration among oil and gas stakeholders is essential to boosting the sector and unlocking Nigeria’s vast energy potential.

Tony Attah, the company’s Managing Director, represented by Chief Technical Officer Abdulrahman Mijinyawa at the event, highlighted that the recent production increase supports the Federal Government’s goal of reaching 2.06 million barrels per day (bpd) of oil output.

He affirmed that this achievement reflects Renaissance’s renewed operational focus and enhanced capacity to meet its crude oil and gas supply commitments, aligning with Nigeria’s broader energy development objectives.
