The headquarters of the Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency in Central Africa (CEREEAC) will be inaugurated, Friday, in Luanda, in an act to be chaired by the Minister of Energy and Water, João Baptista Borges, JA Online learned.
“This center is a ECCAS specialized institution, whose mission is to ensure the coordination of the implementation of the ECCAS policy on renewable energies and energy efficiency and to promote the creation of an ECCAS integrated and inclusive market for related products and services”, de according to a note from the Ministry of Energy and Water sent to JA Online.
The purpose of the event is, in general terms, the official delivery by the authorities of the Republic of Angola, of the Headquarters of CEREEAC to the Economic Community of Member States of Central Africa.
According to the note, the event will be honored by representatives of the administrative authorities, private sector and Angolan civil society, ambassadors of the Member States of the Community accredited in Angola, namely Burundi, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Congo, Congo RD, Gabon, Guinea Equatorial, Rwanda, Sao Tome and Principe and Chad), among other project partners.
