Angola remains the largest oil producer in sub-Saharan Africa for the third consecutive month
Oil production in Angola in July surpassed Nigeria for the third consecutive month, with the country producing 1.180 million barrels a day, against 1.084 in the largest economy in sub-Saharan Africa. According to the monthly report of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), Angola has been increasing production slightly since the beginning of the year, rising from 1.123 million barrels a day in the last quarter of 2021 to 1.161 million in the first quarter
