The visit is part of the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Angola and Namibia, signed in the field of mineral resources and hydrocarbons.

On the first day of work, starting on Monday, the Namibian delegation will visit the Ocean and Maritime Terminal of Barra do Dande (TOBD) in Bengo, the Luanda Refinery, and the SONILS Logistics Base.

On Tuesday, part of the Namibian delegation will travel to the Lobito Refinery Project in Benguela, while the others will visit the Saurimo Diamond Development Hub (PDDS) and the Catoca Mining Society in Lunda-Sul.

However, from the 21st to the 25th, visits will be made to the National Institute of Petroleum (INP) and the Maritime Training Center of Angola (CFMA) in Sumbe, Cuanza-Sul province. During this period, work meetings of the Technical Group for the Implementation of the Angola-Namibia Memorandum of Understanding are also scheduled.
