Etu Energias Distribuição Set to Launch New Lubricant Line

Etu Energias Distribuição is gearing up to unveil its latest line of lubricants on March 6th, aligning with its mission to fuel the country’s growth and invigorate the Angolan market.

The launch event aims to educate consumers about the benefits of lubricants, with specialized technicians delivering presentations highlighting the diverse range of products available and their advantages.

As a leading energy operator, Etu Energias is committed to various facets of the petroleum industry, including import, export, storage, distribution, and commercialization of petroleum-derived products, lubricants, and cooking gas.

Additionally, the company handles the loading, distribution, and commercialization of petroleum-derived products for vessels.

Etu Energias has earned distinction as one of the nine qualified operators in the CON2 and CON8 blocks, secured through a recent international public tender for exploration in the Lower Congo and Kwanza onshore basins.

Block CON2, located northeast of the Basin in the Soyo area, covers approximately 723.37 km², while Block CON8, situated in the western terrestrial portion of the Lower Congo in the Tomboco region, spans approximately 757.75 square kilometers.

As part of its expansion strategy, Etu Energias, through its subsidiary Etu Energias Bloco 17/06, completed a transaction with PTTEP (Angola) in December last year, acquiring a 2.5 percent stake in Block 17/06 offshore Angola.

This acquisition, initiated in December 2022, underscores Etu Energias’ commitment to strategic partnerships and growth opportunities.

Approved by the Ministry of Mineral Resources, Oil, and Gas, this transaction further solidifies Etu Energias’ position in the contractor group for Block 17/06, alongside prominent entities such as Total Energies, Sonangol P&P, and SSI.

Etu Energias stands as the largest private energy company fully owned by Angolans. It currently manages various onshore associations and offshore blocks, underscoring its pivotal role in Angola’s energy landscape.
