ENDIAMA Engages in Capital Markets and Pension Funds Workshop

ENDIAMA is continuing its commitment to training human capital in order to better respond to the challenges of the present and the future, said  recently in Luanda the executive director for Mining Operations, Administration and Human Resources of the country’s second largest company.

Domingos Margarida was speaking during the 2nd edition of the workshop on Capital Markets, Insurance and Pension Funds, aimed at ENDIAMA- E.P. employees and collaborators, organized by the Capital Markets Commission, in partnership with the Angola Debt and Securities Exchange and the Insurance Regulation and Supervision Agency.

During his speech, Margarida stressed that it was essential for ENDIAMA to invest permanently in training its staff, providing them with specific knowledge to continue their work in a company that aims to be increasingly young, modern and with its own dynamics, where its employees can perform functions for which they are duly qualified.

The first training session was attended by around 70 participants, including Rodésio Mavungo, from ENDIMA’s delegation in Dundo, who praised the company’s initiative and asked that it be extended to other provinces where ENDIAMA is represented.

Zezinha de Carvalho, an advisor to the Geology Department, said it was a “master class” in what the capital market is, and also expressed her satisfaction at the company’s commitment to training its employees.

Also present on the first day of the workshop were Djanira Santos, executive director of the National Agency for Mineral Resources, and Nádia Pinto, executive director of the Capital Markets Commission.
