The Lusophone Association of Renewable Energy (ALER) today, in Luanda, presents the national report at the International Conference on Renewable Energy in Angola, a meeting scheduled to end tomorrow.
The event is organized by ALER and the Angola-na Association of Renewable Energy (ASAER), in partnership with the Ministry of Energy and Water, taking place at the António Agostinho Neto Memorial with the participation of 300 institutional and business representatives as well as experts. linked to the sector.
A note from ALER and ASAER sent to Jornal de Angola states that the report to be presented is the most comprehensive and updated on the situation of renewable energy in Angola, allowing an overview of the most recent and future developments in the sector.
The document appears to be fundamental for those potentially interested in investing in renewable energies in Angola, says the note, noting that panels will be presented on the themes “Status of renewable energies in Angola and opportunities for the future”, as well as the “National energy profile, institutional and legal framework”, in addition to on-grid, off-grid and self-consumption renewable energy projects.
The ministers of Energy and Water, João Baptista Borges, of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas, Diamantino Azevedo, and of Culture, Tourism and Environment, Filipe Zau, are expected to participate in the meeting.
