Angola is already preparing to participate in the 3rd edition of the China-Africa Expo.

The invitation for the participation of Angolan authorities in this event was extended during the meeting held on Wednesday at the Glass Palace between the representative of the People’s Government of Changsha City, Tan Ding, and the Minister of Industry and Commerce, Victor Fernandes, who will lead the national delegation.

During his speech, Victor Fernandes assured that Angola is working diligently to ensure a successful participation, highlighting the involvement of the Angola-China Chamber of Commerce in mobilizing and preparing national entrepreneurs.

“We have great confidence in the relationship between Angola and China, considering it a very important partner. Therefore, we want our relationship to not only be historical but also an economic one,” he emphasized.

In turn, Tan Ding stated that Africa is a continent that has received special attention from the Chinese government in various sectors. One of the objectives of his visit to Angola is to deepen knowledge about the country’s reality in order to strengthen economic and trade cooperation between both countries. The 3rd edition of CAETE will be held under the theme “Common Development for a Shared Future,” in line with the spirit of the 8th Ministerial Conference of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) to implement the “Nine Programs” of cooperation between the Asian giant and African countries.
