The 130 participants praised the initiative to present the country’s production chain and identify opportunities for local companies to become involved in the project called “Conexão Aebran.”
During the event held on Thursday night, in addition to the welcoming remarks from Raimundo Lima, the President of Aebran – the Association of Brazilian Entrepreneurs and Executives in Angola, the event featured speeches by Diogo Gomes, the Commercial Director of the TD Hotels Group, who discussed the “Back to Networking” program, and Guilherme Bastos, the Executive Director of Aebran, who spoke about the current state of Aebran and its projects.
Aebran aims to regularly promote business networking among its members and other invited guests. The first “Conexão Aebran” event was held with free entry. In addition to TD Hotels, which provided hospitality and catering for the “Back to Networking” program, the event also received support from the Angola-Brazil Chamber of Commerce (CCAB).
Guilherme Bastos, the Executive Director of Aebran, explained that the goal is to create a meeting space where, on one side, there are prominent companies in the Angolan market, and on the other, small and medium-sized entrepreneurs who also operate in the local market.
