SODIAM is going to hold an electronic auction on May 19th, to sale 36 special diamond stones to the registered national and international buyers.
According to a press release from SODIAM-E.P., viewing sessions will take place from 8th to 18th of May, at the company’s offices in Luanda, and the bidding process, which will be carried out only electronically, closes at 10am of May 19th.
The document also explains that the auction is directed to clients registered by SODIAM with experience in marketing special diamond stones.
The lots for sale, with 36 stones in total, include four special stones of over 10.80 carats from the Lulo production; seven from Catoca, two stones from Luminas; one from Chitotolo; one stone from Uari; one from Lunhinga; 19 special stones from Kaixepa, and one special stone from the Moquita Cooperative. In terms of measurement, it is estimated that one carat (ct) is equivalent to about 0.2 grams.
