The 1st round table for women in the Mining Industry – positioning, opportunities and challenges was organized in Luanda last Tuesday 4th April by Bumbar Mining, allowing the assessment of the challenges faced by women within the sector.
JA Online learned from a note that questions were addressed at the event, including: “How does the Angolan Mining Industry intervene in training staff for the industry’s value chain?; How does the hiring of women currently proceed?
How do they retain them? in business institutions and organizations? Just to name a few. According to the same document, the initiative brought together a total of 115 (one hundred and fifteen) participants, including guests and professionals from the Angolan mining industry
